- 2 1/4 cups water
- dash of salt
- 1 cup regular rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- Put the water in a small saucepan and add the salt, bring to a boil.
- Once it’s boiling, turn it down to low and add the oats and cook, stirring, until the water is just absorbed (about 5 minutes).
- Add cinnamon, raisins and walnuts; cover the pan and turn off the heat.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes. Serve drizzled with honey and milk (of any variety).
