Affogato, aka gelato drowned in espresso, is an Italian thing and it just happens to be one of my absolute favorite desserts.

Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 scoops of your favorite gelato (you can buy it, or better yet make it)
  • 1 or 2 shots of espresso

Directions

  1. Scoop gelato into a small bowl.
  2. Brew some espresso and pour it over the gelato.
  3. Spoon into your mouth with pleasure.
