Unbeetable Ginger Cocktail

Ingredients

• 2 oz gin or mezcal
• 1/2 oz beet ginger shrub
• 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
• a splash of Fever Tree ginger beer
• an orange twist for garnish
• a sprig of fresh rosemary for garnish

Directions

1. Combine gin or mezcal, beet shrub, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake
2. Strain into a rocks glass with ice and top with a splash of ginger beer
3. Slice a piece of fresh orange peel, twist over the liquid, rub along the rim, and drop into the glass
4. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and serve
