AKA Pepper Joe’s Island Hot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 12 habanero peppers
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 tablespoon white pepper
  • 1 lime
  • 8 tablespoons white vinegar

Directions

  1. Cut habaneros in half and remove seeds.
  2. Drop in boiling water for 30 seconds to blanch.
  3. Remove peppers. Add onion, carrots, and garlic to boiling water and cook until tender.
  4. Squeeze juice from lime, combine all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend on high.
