• 2 ripe avocados; peeled, pitted and mashed
  • 1/4 red onion, diced
  • 1 large tomato, diced (on the vine tastes best)
  • juice from 1 fresh lime
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
  • black pepper and salt to taste


  • Mash avocados with fork in medium bowl.
  • Combine all ingredients. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving (place one of the avocado pits in the bowl to help keep it fresh if you’re not serving right away).
