Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken livers
 - 1 small onion, cut in half
 - 1/2 cup water or chicken broth (plus additional 1/2 cup water/broth as throw-away simmer juice)
 - 1 stick butter
 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1/8 teaspoon pepper
 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
 - 1/2 teaspoon curry powder (optional)
 
Directions
- Simmer chicken livers and onion for 10 – 15 minutes in water or chicken broth
 - Drain chicken livers, add fresh 1/2 cup chicken broth (or water), and the onion to a blender
 - Add the spices, then cover and blend
 - With the motor on high, add 1 stick butter, 1 tablespoon at a time
 - Transfer to container and chill (preferably overnight)
